WTS is a copyrighted, but FREE to use, Windows® based, utility program designed to make your AM Broadcast Band DXing more enjoyable and productive. As such, it has four primary functions:

  • To help you identify unknown AM/BCB stations.
  • To display pertinent information about a station once identified.
  • To create a log of your confirmed receptions, if desired.
  • To create "reports" for additional use and reference.

Please Note: WTS supports ONLY Western Hemisphere locations.
That is, those with a negative UTC time offset (blue/yellow on map)
If you reside in the Eastern Hemisphere, (i.e. Positive UTC time offset)
WTS will run, but all time and date calculations will be incorrect. There
are currently no plans to address this issue in the forseeable future.

For more information about WTS:

  • Click Here for a general overview of the program.

  • Click Here for details of the program and some screen shots.

  • Click Here or the "Downloads" menu item to download WTS.

Updates to the "master" Medium Wave database (WTSMWDB.TXT) should generally be available for download on the first day of each month. Other updates will be available for download as released.

Many thanks for stopping by - If you use WTS, I hope you find it to be an enjoyable and useful tool and will "spread the word" to your friends and associates who might also be interested in MW DX. As always, I welcome your comments.

All the Best!,
